Research Abstract

血管内皮前駆細胞がMMP-2/-9分泌により、瘢痕形成の主体である筋線維芽細胞のアポトーシスを誘導し、瘢痕組織を改善するかの検討を行った。血管内皮前駆細胞からのMMP-2/-9の分泌は確認できたものの、in vitroでは筋線維芽細胞のアポトーシスを認めず、またin vivoでも瘢痕組織自体の質も改善してはいなかった。これらの結果より、血管内皮前駆細胞は瘢痕組織改善に寄与しないと考えた。
