Research Abstract

骨芽細胞に対して機械的な刺激を加える実験系を用い、メカニカルストレスに伴う歯周組織のコラーゲン分解・産生に関する研究を行った。さらに、in vivoにおける遺伝子の特定も行った。In vitroの実験系における、培養シャーレの底面が自由に伸縮細胞実験系により、培養骨芽細胞および培養線維芽細胞にメカニカルストレスを加え、その経時的形態変化、細胞増殖能、コラーゲン合成能、コラーゲン分解能などを検討した結果、細胞形態変化と細胞増殖能、コラーゲン合成・分解の間に強い関係が認められた。また、in vivoの実験系では、Msx2などの遺伝子が牽引力と関係があることがわかった。
