Outline of Final Research Achievements	現代におけるイスラーム現象は、世界がナショナルなもののユニットの集合体の構成物であるとするナショナリズムのフィクションを超え、「想像上の」一種の新たな普遍主義を構築しつつある。そのヴィジョンの中で〈日本〉はどのようなイメージを形成保持し、あるいはまた変化しうるのかという一連の総合的研究プロジェクトの予備研究である本研究は、新たに形成されつつある〈ヴァーチャル・ウンマ〉実態解明の端緒を見出した。
