Research Abstract

外部刺激によりロッキング運動を制御しうるロタキサン合成と、ロッキング運動がもたらすロタキサンの双極子変化を用いた分子スケールダイオードへの応用等、分子素子への応用の可能性を探ることが本研究の目的である。21年度は、申請書に記載の刺激応答性輪分子を合成するとともに、対応するロタキサンの軸分子の一方のストッパーを基板へ担持するために、軸分子へ異なるストッパーを導入する反応を開発する計画を立てた。本計画に従って研究を遂行したところ、研究実施計画に記載の輪分子および対応するロタキサンの合成を完了した。そこで、本ロタキサンの合成研究の部分までを成果として学会報告をおこなった。また、得られたロタキサン合成の知見と取り扱いの知見を用いて、新たに合成したロタキサンのデスリッピング反応に関する成分内水素結合の効果に関する研究の成果を得ることが出来たので、本件に関しての学会報告を行うとともに、論文としてまとめた。
しかし、基盤への担持用に開発したロタキサンの量が少量であること、またそのロタキサンの不安定性が予想以上に大きかったため、スペクトルで得られたロタキサンの構造が確認されたに留まっている。目的のロタキサンを、安定がつ大量に合成する事が出来れば、基板への担持とその動的挙動の確認に進行させることが出来る。これまで得られた知見によって、基盤への担持部位を改良することにより目的の基盤担持ロタキサンを得ることが出来る目途をたてることが出来た。
