Research Abstract

心筋梗塞・脳梗塞などの重篤な循環器疾患は,動脈硬化症の進展にともない動脈壁に発生する病変の破裂により発生すると言われている.したがって,病変の破裂し易さに関係する動脈壁の弾性特性および破綻のトリガとなりうる血流の計測が重要である.本研究では,動脈壁の弾性特性と血流を同時に計測するために必要な高速(3500 Hz)超音波イメージング法を開発するとともに,それにより得られた超音波信号を解析することにより動脈壁のひずみ(弾性特性)および血流を描出する手法を開発した.
