Research Abstract |
This study investigated the transitional services from hospital and community nurses for advanced cancer inpatients and the correlated factors for them to die at home. We also developed a transitional nursing program for these patients and a communication skill training program for nurses. After confirmation of feasibilities of these programs, we evaluated and revealed the effectiveness for patients' and family caregivers' QOL and satisfaction by a randomized controlled trial.
