Research Abstract

短期記憶・作業記憶の神経基盤と考えられる大脳皮質の持続的神経活動の神経回路メカニズム、特に抑制性細胞の多様性や樹状突起の空間的非一様性等の効果を数理モデルを用いて研究した。そして、興奮性錐体細胞の樹状突起分枝に投射する抑制性細胞の作用、及びそれに伴う樹状突起分枝上の非線形な入力加算が、記憶対象と関係の無い非特異的な入力を受けた場合に不適切な応答が起こらないことを保証する働きをしている可能性などを示した。
