Research Abstract

脊髄小脳失調症(SCA)の新規治療薬の探索を目的として、変異γPKCの凝集体形成・細胞毒性に対する薬物スクリーニングを行う系を構築した。二糖類トレハロースとアミロイド抑制化合物コンゴーレッドが、この系において変異γPKCの凝集体形成・細胞毒性を抑制した。これらの薬物はSCAの病変部位である小脳プルキンエ細胞の初代培養でも変異γPKCの凝集体形成・細胞毒性を抑制し、新規SCA治療薬として期待できる。
