Research Abstract |
Cbln1分子は小脳顆粒細胞軸索-プルキンエ細胞間でのシナプスの形成・維持と機能的可塑性に必須である分泌性因子である。我々はCbln1全長がリガンドとして働き、その受容体がプルキンエ細胞神経棘上に特異的に局在することを示した。申請者はCbln1と共役して働く受容体候補の膜タンパク質を同定し、この受容体がCbln1によるシナプス形成において必須な受容体複合体の一部であることを見出した。
