Research Abstract

ラット脊髄膠様質ニューロンにホールセル・パッチクランプ法を適用し、痛覚情報伝達制御におけるプロテアーゼ受容体(PAR-1)の役割を調べた。外因性および内因性アゴニストで活性化されたPAR-1は、自発性のグルタミン酸放出を増加させたが、後根電気刺激による一次感覚神経終末からのグルタミン酸放出には影響しなかった。以上より、PAR-1活性化によるグルタミン酸放出増加はグルタミン酸作動性介在ニューロン末端から起こるものであり、TRPV1チャネル活性化とは直接相互作用しないことが示唆された。
