| Research Abstract |
犯罪現場に残された指紋は捜査の重要な手がかりとなるが、経時変化した指紋は検出が困難になるという問題がある。そこで経時変化した指紋の可視化を目的として研究を行った。様々な条件で指紋を保管し、一定の期間ごとの蛍光スペクトルの変化を観測した。実験には紫外線パルスレーザを用い、時間分解分光法により測定を行った。その結果、暗条件のものは、日照下及び蛍光灯下よりも劣化が少なく、また低湿度に保ったものも比較的劣化が少ない結果となった。またレーザ照射時間と共に大きくなる蛍光ピークを利用して指紋の可視化を試み、はじめは観測されなかった指紋が、時間が経過すると観測できるようになることを示した。
