Research Abstract

高齢社会における介護予防のための栄養指導に資することを目的に、地域在住の閉経後女性の骨密度(BMD)低下抑制に対するカルシウム摂取との関連を縦断的に調査した。BMDが減少した者では、BMDとカルシウム摂取量との間に正の相関がみられ、重回帰分析では、BMDは尿中カルシウム排泄量との間に負の関連がみられた。したがって、高齢女性のBMD低下を抑制するには、カルシウム摂取の勧奨が必要性であると示唆された。
