Research Abstract |
本研究では、歪補償法と呼ぶ特徴的な手法で作製した超多重積層量子ドットを用いて、通信波長帯での高精度フォトンエコー測定を可能にし、(1)現在世界最長の励起子デコヒーレンス時間を達成、(2)ラビ振動と呼ばれるコヒーレント振動の制御を通信波長帯において初めて成功させるなどの成果を挙げた。本研究成果は、次世代の情報通信技術である量子情報技術の発展に寄与することが期待される。
