Research Abstract

マラリアに対し有効な新規ワクチンを開発する目的で、ネズミマラリア原虫から完全長cDNAライブラリを作成しDNAワクチンとしてマウスに免疫し、その後、チャレンジ感染を行った。2000クローン投与群で有意な生存期間延長効果を認めたため、全クローンの5端塩基配列を決定し、遺伝子の特徴別にサブセット化した。それぞれについて免疫効果を評価して絞り込みを行った結果、効率良く免疫応答を誘導する104クローンが選択された。
