| Research Abstract |
本研究は,中国の海南島の山岳に居住するリー族の3つの村落を対象とし,1980年代以降に実施された市場経済化・環境保護などの国家政策への村落住民の対応について,横と縦の両側面からデータを収集し,調査研究を行ってきた.横断的なデータの分析は,政府の食糧増産政策が村落成人住民の栄養状況の改善に大きく寄与していることを示している.縦断的なデータの分析は,換金作物開発が村落周辺の森林減少をもたらしたことと,世帯人口構成が各世帯の換金作物開発の度合いを影響し村落内の貧富格差の出現にも関連していることをあきらかにした.
