| Research Abstract |
I studied on Utsulio Monoga tail that is the oldest long novel in Japan. First, I studied the Monogatariby historical and cultural method. I showed how the Monogatari formed the world of the fiction to refer to historical events (for instance,Japanese envoy to Tang Dynasty China) or personages. Then, I resesached on characters like lbsbikage and three eccentricities.To investigate characterization of the Monogatara showed the thought of the author. I made a presentation at the academic meeting and published papers about tlese themes.
