統語論・音韻論のインターフェイスに関する研究:語順を律する原理について

Research Abstract

本研究の目的とそのための研究内容は以下の3点に要約される。1.依存詞並べ替えが、インターフェイス、特に音声形式(PF)制約と、統語的制約の両方を受けていることを、日英語以外の言語、特に音韻論的には英語に近く、統語論的には日本語に近いドイツ語やオランダ語で検証する。2.語順を律すると考えられている統語的な原理(例えば主要部パラメター)が、インターフェイス制約からどの程度導かれるか、主に英語と日本語の資料や先行研究をもとに分析し考察する。3.1.2の分析・考察結果が、言語機能の構造とその一般認知体系における位置付けの解明に貢献することを示す。平成21年度は、関連分野の研究者との交流を続けながらこれまでの研究の成果をまとめ、平成22年3月に書籍Derivational Linearization at the Syntax-Prosody Interfaceとしてひつじ書房より刊行した。今後上記3について研究内容をさらに発展させるため、3月には京都での生物言語学・進化言語学に関するワークショップを聴講した。
