Research Abstract	中世の地域社会における多くの行動様式に対しては、信仰のありようが深く関わっており、これら地域における信仰形態を検討することによって、地域社会を復元することが可能になる。各地に伝わる信仰の対象物は、そのための重要な資料といえるが、それらは総合的に検討される必要がある。そこで本研究は、それらとその他の資料をあわせて検討することによって、越後国内における信仰関係の対象物およびその製作・伝来に関わる社会的な背景、また地域信仰のあり方について解明することを目的とする。
