Research Abstract

新羅との外交・交渉で齎された土器は、7世紀初頭から飛鳥・藤原地域に集中し始め、7世紀後半にはこの地域に集約する。その後、交易目的の往来が主体となるまで宮都を中心に分布が移動する。とれは、推古朝の中国的な外交儀礼の導入と、天武朝における政治的戦略による外交権の掌握が反映したものであり、外交権が皇権に一元化され、諸権力が宮都に集約していくことを示す。天武朝に始まった国家建設が平城京に至って完成していく過程を知ることができる。
