Research Abstract

社会行動の発達と扁桃核の関与を探るために、社会行動が劇的に変化する日齢のキンカチョウのヒナの脳の活性部位の変化を観察した。 結果、扁桃核は社会行動が変化するよりもはやい時期から観察された。また、はやい時期から安定して観察できる脳領域は扁桃核だけであった。この結果と社会行動の発達の時期を比較すると、扁桃核は行動発達をリードする形で形成・発達されることが予測される。
