Research Abstract |
High precision calibration has been performed on water Cherenkov neutrino detector Super-Kamiokande by upgrading calibration light source, monitor for light source and readout electronics. The high precision calibration improved precision of determination of neutrino interaction point. Therefore, we can expect an improvement of systematic error on determination of fiducial volume, which is important on T2K experiment, about half of current value.
