Research Abstract

フーリエ分光法によって半導体単一量子ドット中の励起子の位相緩和過程を調べることに成功した。これまで励起子位相緩和を支配するものはフォノンであると考えられてきたが、本研究ではフォノンとは別に周囲にトラップされた余剰電荷がフォノンよりも時間スケールの長い位相緩和をもたらすことを明らかにした。さらに、フォノンと余剰電荷による位相緩和の競合により、温度上昇で一時的にスペクトル線幅が狭くなる場合があることを見出した。
