Research Abstract

固体地球科学や化学工学などにおいて重要な、高密度粉体の流動を記述する法則(レオロジー)を理論とシミュレーションによって解明した。とくに、降伏応力発生に伴う2次相転移(ジャミング転移)に伴う臨界現象に注目することにより、高密度粉体レオロジーを臨界現象の理論で記述することに成功した。さらに粒子の協同運動を定量化し、その相関員がベキ的に成長していくこと、およびレオロジーヘの影響を解明した。
