| Research Abstract |
環境水中の天然放射性核種をトレーサーとして、水循環に関する知見を得るための新しい測定方法の開発を試みた。主に秋田県玉川温泉の温泉水を対象試料にして開発・測定を行った。その結果、ウラン・トリウムの濃度には大きな変動があり、これらの変動の一部は温泉沈殿物(北投石)に由来していることがわかった。また、宇宙線生成核種ベリリウム-10フラックスとベリウム同位体比^<10>Be/^9Beから、環境水中の集水域や水の由来等についての知見を得られることがわかった。
