Research Abstract

大気境界層乱流に伴って発生する下層雲のパラメタリゼーションの開発を行なった。これまでの気象予測モデルで用いられていたパラメタリゼーションでは水蒸気が地表面付近に滞留する傾向があり、これが境界層を過剰に湿らせることで過大な雲生成へとつながっていた。鉛直乱流拡散をもたらすパラメタリゼーションを導入することにより、水蒸気が鉛直により輸送されることで境界層内の過湿を押さえ、雲の過大生成を抑制した。
