Research Abstract

本研究は、通常は無偏光であるプラズマ軟X線レーザーを円偏光化することを目的としている。高波長分解能分光器及び、専用に開発した強磁場発生装置を従来の軟X線レーザーと組み合わせることにより円偏光化を試みた。結果として、世界で初めてニッケル様イオンを用いたX線レーザーの線幅測定、及び外部磁場によるスペクトル線の波長分離の観測に成功した。また、波長分離量が、外部磁場から予想される量と比較して非常に大きい事から、レーザー媒質中での磁場圧縮機構の存在が予想される。
