Research Abstract

1.大気粉塵単一粒子中微量元素組成の定量法を確立するために,主要な起源と考えられる元素濃度が既知の粉塵試料(焼却飛灰,ボイラー燃焼灰,ディーゼル燃焼灰,ブレーキ磨耗粉,都市大気粉塵)について,SEM-EDXを用いたときの単位濃度当たりの検出感度を測定した.試料の違いにかかわらず同元素であれば検出感度は数倍程度の違いしかなく,検出感度は試料マトリックスに依存しないことが分かった.また,SEM-EDXを用いたときの定量結果と認証されたICP-MSによる化学分析法による定量結果と比較すると,同桁内で一致し,SEM-EDXを用いた単一粒子分析は微量元素の半定量に応用出来ることが分かった.
2.上記と同じ発生源粉塵試料について,SEM-EDX及びSTEM-EDXを用いて単一粒子の形状及び元素分布を測定した.ボイラー燃焼灰,ディーゼル燃焼灰のような燃焼起源の大気粉塵は粒径1μm程度の球形粒子及びナノサイズの微小粒子が凝集した綿状粒子が多くを占めており,発生源特定につながる指標元素としてC,S,K,Na,Clが検出された.一方,ブレーキ磨耗粉は角張粉子が多くを占めており,S,K,Ti,Sb,Baが指標元素として検出された.これらの形状及び元素分布の情報は大気粉塵の起源を単一粒子レベルで同定する際に有用であることが示された.
3.道路沿道及び一般大気において大気粉塵を粒径別(0.06μm〜11μm)に採取し,元素組成を測定した.道路沿道では,粒径3.6〜5.2μmの粗大粒子で高濃度のSb,Cu,Baが測定され,2.で求めた発生源粉塵の測定結果との比較からブレーキ磨耗粉が主要な起源であることが分かった.一般大気では粒径0.5〜0.7μmの微小粒子で高濃度のSb,Cd,Pbが測定され,発生源粉塵測定との比較から廃棄物焼却飛灰が主要な起源であることが分かった.
