Research Abstract

植物が作り出す有機化合物の中にも高分子を合成するために必要なビニル基を有するものが数多くの存在する。本研究では、植物油中に豊富に存在し、重合性官能基であるβ-メチルスチレン骨格を有するフェニルプロパノイド類の精密カチオン重合を検討した。とくに、フェノール性水酸基を有するものの水系でのリビングカチオン共重合について検討を行い、これまでに例のない交互重合体も得られることを見出した。
