Research Abstract

固体高分子形燃料電池における電解質膜の機能性および耐久性の向上を目指し、新しい電解質材料として、特に低膨潤性と高プロトン伝導性に優れた全芳香族縮合系ブロック共重合体の開発を行った。全芳香族ポリマーの一次構造をブロック化することにより膜中にミクロ相分離構造の形成を促し、膨潤を防ぐ部分とプロトンを伝導する部分に分離させることに成功した。モルフォロジーと膨潤性およびプロトン伝導性の関係を明らかにできたことから、本アプローチによって従来の電解質膜における課題の克服に糸口が見いだすことに成功した。
