Research Abstract

本研究では、結晶構造の対称性操作により半導体の光学物性が制御できることを示すために、量子構造を形成した半導体発光材料の光学的異方性を評価した。偏光フォトリフレクタンスの測定結果より、電子エネルギー帯構造の結晶面方位異方性と光学遷移強度の相関を明らかにした。特に、高次のエネルギー遷移を含んだ広いスペクトル領域での光学遷移異方性を初めて実験的に示し、理論から予測されていた基礎物性と比較、検討した。
