Research Abstract

長距離秩序を持つTa-Te系の準結晶が実現されれば世界で初めての長距離準周期秩序をもつ12回対称準結晶の合成となる。良質な長距離準周期秩序を持つTa-Te準結晶の高温高圧合成条件の探索を行った。その結果、いずれの合成条件でもTaTe_2が安定化し、準結晶組成のTa_<1.6>Teは合成されなかった。熱力学的安定条件下では長距離秩序を持つ準結晶相が安定に存在しない可能性を示す結果となった。
