| Research Abstract |
本研究は鉄道敷設に建築技術者がどのように関与していくのか、駅舎の建設経緯を踏まえて明らかにした。取り扱う対象を東京駅建設前後とし、東京駅と同じ工事区域で建設された駅舎とした。これらの工事は明治29 年に設置された新永間建築事務所を最初とする建設組織が所管した。そこで研究対象を新永間建築事務所とその後継組織の所管する工事区域、年代を新永間建築事務所が設置された明治29 年から、鉄道省内に建築営繕を専門に担当する部署である建築課が設置される大正9 年までに限定し、考察した。
