Research Abstract

巨大な脂質二分子膜小胞(ジャイアントベシクル)と固体粒子間の相互作用力について、原子間力顕微鏡による直接測定と計算機によるモデリングを行った。その結果、粒子の表面物性は粒子・ジャイアントベシクル間の相互作用力に大きく影響することが明らかになった。特に、疎水性表面をもつ粒子では、ジャイアントベシクル表面から粒子を引き離す時、階段状のフォースカーブが得られた。このようなフォースカーブは、生細胞・粒子間の相互作用力でも観察された。
