Research Abstract |
光の有無によって,核へと光シグナルを伝える事が出来るシロイヌナズナ(Arabidopsis thaliana)由来の赤色/遠赤色光受容体フィトクロムAと相互作用するタンパク質の候補をシロイヌナズナのcDNAライブラリよりスクリーニングし,数個の候補タンパク質を得た.これらの候補タンパク質をDsREDと融合させ,フィトクロムA-GFP融合タンパク質と共発現させることでこれらのタンパク質の細胞内の共局在(光照射下での核局在)を確認した.尚,これらの候補タンパク質はこれまで機能未知のタンパク質であった.また,フィトクロムA が制御する代謝に関して新しい知見を得た.即ち,ポリアミンのうちプトレシン量が光による制御を受けている事を明らかにした.さらに,非光合成性植物ヤセウツボ(Orobanche minor)のフィトクロムA が光合成植物のフィトクロムA の機能解明に有用であることを示した.
