Research Abstract

本研究では検出器中の対生成反応に着目し、従来のように各イベントに対してエネルギースペクトルを測定することに加え、対生成による生じたe-,e+の飛跡も捕らえることで入射γ線エネルギーと飛来方向を推定し、より正確に爆薬の有無や位置を探索する検出器を開発することにある。従来の方式とは異なり、様々な元素がある屋外でも真のイベントのみを測定できるので、土壌中の爆薬を速やかに正確に発見することが期待できる
