Research Abstract

ジベレリンは、植物の生長を制御する植物ホルモンとして知られている。GA信号伝達において、DELLAタンパク質は、抑制因子として働き、GA依存的に分解されることが報告されている。レセプターの発見により分解までの制御機構が明らかになったが、DELLAタンパク質の機能は、不明であった。本研究では、DELLAタンパク質と相互作用する因子GAF1を単離し、酵母、植物細胞を用いた実験系を確立しGAF1-DELLA複合体によるGA信号伝達の一つの作用機構モデルを提唱した。
