Research Abstract

不等分裂を行う褐藻類の受精卵の最初の細胞質分裂がどのように進行していくか,アクチンはどのような働きをもっているのかについて微細構造レベルで明らかにするために,急速凍結置換法という固定法を用いて透過型電子顕微鏡で詳細に観察を行った。その結果,アクチンは細胞質分裂面に供給される平板小嚢と呼ばれる構造の形成に関与していることが明らかになった一方,細胞質分裂面の決定には直接関与していないことが示唆された。
