Research Abstract

糸状性シアノバクテリアに見られる分枝形成の起源とその形態的多様化の進化過程を明らかにするため、現性種の分子系統学的解析を行った。またその系統発生時期を推定するため、化石記録との対比を行った。一方で、分枝形成の分子機構を明らかにすることをめざし、非モデル生物株に分子遺伝学的手法を導入し、変異体の解析を行った。
