Research Abstract

レンズにおいて熱ショック転写因子HSF4の結合領域を網羅的に調べた結果、HSF4結合領域のほとんどはイントロンあるいは近傍の遺伝子から10 kb 以上離れた領域に存在した.この領域は、HSF群の結合が発生過程で変化し、近傍に存在する遺伝子は熱ショックによって誘導されることが分かった.また、HSF4の結合が周辺部のクロマチン修飾に影響を及ぼすことも明らかになった.
