Research Abstract

骨格筋分化における遺伝子発現高次制御機構として、遺伝子集積現象について解析を行った。そのために、必要となるゲノムワイドでの遺伝子集積現象の解析系を新たに立ち上げ、その結果、骨格筋分化の極めて初期に染色体の特異的部位が、遺伝子集積を起こすことが明らかとなった。さらに、遺伝子集積を起こす因子群を複数同定し、その機能阻害により骨格筋分化が抑制されたことから遺伝子集積現象が、骨格筋分化の高次制御機構であることが示唆された。
