Research Abstract

ヒトの体はさまざまな細胞で構成され、細胞が恒常性を保つことで健康に維持されている。細胞の恒常性には、細胞内で合成されたタンパク質や脂質などが機能すべき場所へ正しく運ばれることが重要である。細胞内で新規に合成された膜タンパク質などは細胞のなかのゴルジ体に一旦集積され、選別が行われた後、それぞれの場所へと輸送されていく。本研究では、ゴルジ体を中心としたタンパク質の輸送経路において重要な役割を果たすあるタンパク質の分子機構を明らかにした。
