Research Abstract

研究では「細胞周期とアポトーシスを制御する転写因子E2F1の転写ネットワークの理解」を目的として、E2F1を軸としたフィードバック・ループによる細胞機能制御の解明を目指した。特本に、E2F1の新規ヒト標的遺伝子として見出したGemininならびにCDCA4について解析を進めた。E2F1-CDCA4、E2F1-Gemininといったフィードバック・ループによりE2F1活性が制御される可能性が示唆され、E2F1を介した細胞増殖・分化や細胞死などの制御を考える上で重要な知見であると推察される。
