Research Abstract |
イネ葉において,光合成の鍵酵素であるRubiscoの量をRubiscoの小サブユニットの遺伝子であるrbcSを過剰発現させることで増強することに成功した.しかし,光合成速度は葉の一生を通じて改善されなかった.その要因として,成熟葉ではRubiscoの酵素活性が低下していたこと,また,老化葉ではRubiscoの量が増強されておらず野生型と同程度にまで低下していたことが挙げられた.
