Research Abstract

グルタミン酸およびリジン発酵で知られるCorynebacterium glutamicumのリジン生合成量の調節を主に担っている酵素アスパラギン酸キナーゼ(CgAK)の活性調節サブユニットおよび全体構造の結晶構造決定を行った。CgAK のリジン、スレオニンによるアロステリック調節機構の概要を明らかになり、スクリーニングにより新たな調節解除変異酵素の作製に成功した。
