Research Abstract

酵母メタノール誘導性遺伝子発現に関わる転写因子を新たに取得し、Trm1 がメタノール特異的誘導、Trm2 がグルコース脱抑制に関わる転写因子として機能していることを明らかにした。枯草菌のホルムアルデヒド応答性遺伝子発現制御機構を利用し、ホルムアルデヒドを検出できるセンサー細胞を開発した。メタノール資化性細菌のホルムアルデヒド固定経路の酵素(HPS, PHI)を人工的に融合した二機能性酵素を創製し、ホルムアルデヒド資化性や耐性を異種生物に付与することに成功した。
