Research Abstract

木材の接着を説明する重要な考えの1つに、木材組織への接着剤の浸透と硬化によって発現する機械的接着がある。これについて、レオロジカルな流動特性を示すエマルジョン系接着剤を対象として浸透挙動の理論式を打ち立て、これを実験結果によって検証した。一方で、解剖学的に見て木材は、複雑かつ不均一である。エマルジョン系木材接着剤がどのように、またはどの程度に浸透して機械的接着を発現しているかを、木材の組織構造に注視した微視観察を行った。
