Research Abstract

ニワトリにおける生殖幹細胞の同定は、未だその存在すら同定されていないのが現状で、本研究課題では、生殖細胞に特異的な分子指標であるVasa抗体を用いて、免疫組織化学的にその存在の有無について、個体発生過程を通じて精査した。その結果、精祖細胞ならびに卵祖細胞が、これまでの報告にはみられない異所的な局在を見いだすことができた。その培養を試みたが、一時的な培養に留まり、培養液のさらなる改良が必要と考えられた。
