Research Abstract

これまで骨の成長に重要であることが知られていたC 型ナトリウム利尿ペプチド(CNP)が、新たな機能として体内の脂肪蓄積の量を決定することに関与する可能性が明らかになった。その作用は、脂肪細胞の分化を制御する遺伝子に作用することによる。今回の研究の成果は、CNPが脂肪の形成に関わる制御機構の解明に向けた新たな突破口となることが考えられる。
