Research Abstract

テクネチウムは過去の核実験や核燃料再処理施設から自然界に放出されてきた人工放射性核種で、一般に水溶性の高い化合物を形成する。そのためテクネチウムを水溶液から回収するためには嫌気的条件や特殊な樹脂が必要とされてきた。本研究では好気的な条件下でテクネチウムを菌体内に取り込む海洋細菌に着目し、遺伝子組み換え実験により、その蓄積に関わる遺伝子のいくつかを特定した。
