Research Abstract

高感度13C検出法による高分子量糖タンパク質糖鎖のNMRシグナルの帰属法の開発を行った。この計測技術は、糖タンパク質の構造・機能解析のブレイクスルーとなった。また、低温条件下で13C-NMRを計測することにより、糖鎖水酸基の水素結合に関する情報を得ることに成功した。本方法をオリゴ糖鎖や多糖に適用することにより、オリゴ糖間の弱い相互作用や多糖のへリックス形成の立体構造に関する情報を抽出することが可能となった。
